Online Chat Support Officer

Job Description:

US Foods Holding is seeking a dedicated and experienced Online Chat Support Officer to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. As an Associate Level position, the successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide online chat support to customers, addressing their inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
2. Utilize creativity and persuasion skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide solutions to their problems.
3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels.
4. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by consistently meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
5. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
6. Handle escalated customer issues with resilience and professionalism.
7. Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing support and guidance.

Requirements:
1. At least 4 years of experience in a customer service or online chat support role.
2. Hardworking and resilient personality traits to handle challenging situations with grace.
3. Strong creativity and persuasion skills to effectively communicate with customers.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Proficiency in using online chat support platforms and CRM systems.
7. Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends.
