This position plays a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payment authorizations, and maintaining robust relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. This part-time opportunity offers the potential for remote work flexibility while contributing to our commitment to excellence and high standards. ### Key Responsibilities **Invoice Processing & Payments:** - Accurately review, code, and process invoices in the accounting system to ensure timely payment. - Conduct regular audits on invoices to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies before processing. - Monitor the accounts payable inbox, ensuring prompt and clear communication regarding invoice discrepancies or payment-related inquiries. **Vendor Relationships:** - Maintain and develop strong relationships with vendors and service providers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. - Assist vendors with their concerns regarding billing, payment status, and documentation, fostering a positive partnership. **Reporting & Documentation:** - Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to accounts payable. - Maintain organized records of transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and auditing standards. - Support internal and external auditor requests by ensuring access to structured documentation and processes. **Expense Management:** - Collaborate in managing the company's purchase order process, ensuring accurate tracking and verification of expenses. - Analyze and validate expense reports to ensure compliance with budgeting and forecasting standards. **Process Improvement:** - Identify opportunities to enhance accounts payable processes and contribute to ongoing projects or initiatives aimed at improving efficiency. - Assist in the implementation of new software or systems related to accounts payable as needed. **Compliance:** - Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting principles, and keep updated on legal regulations impacting accounts payable functions. ### Requirements **Education & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. - A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. **Technical Skills:** - Proficiency in accounting software (experience with (specific software) preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to accounts payable. **Personality Traits:** - A dedicated and hardworking individual who strives for excellence and upholds high standards in all endeavors. **Soft Skills:** - Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze information and make sound judgments in a timely manner. - Effective strategic planning skills, allowing for proactive management of accounts payable processes. ### Benefits - Remote work flexibility to support work-life balance. - Disability insurance and medical coverage to ensure the wellbeing of our employees. ### Working Environment At PulteGroup, we foster a culture that promotes striving for excellence.
