The season generally runs from July/August through until April/May the following year.
About The Role Our On Farm Assists travel to and from dairy farms throughout the region to provide our farmers with much-needed support on farm. No two days will be the same - you will assist with a range of different on-farm activities such as herd test support during milking, DNA sampling, herd audits and weighing animals - just to name a few.

About You Our ideal candidates will:
Have a positive 'can do' attitude, and learn quickly.
Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Have excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Be physically fit and active.
Be self-motivated and professional.
Hold a current, full drivers' licence (essential).
Have the right to work in NZ immediately (essential).
The ideal person will be someone who has a hands-on approach, knowledge of, and empathy for the New Zealand dairy industry. An integral part of this role will be interacting with farmers and field-based staff to ensure LIC deliver a quality service.
