The Advanced RN HHD provides on call care to our patients who dialyze through our home HHD or PD program. You are their lifeline to assisting them with any issues that may arise. Our RNs for this Remote Support Role must have a minimum of 1 year in each home modalities of PD/HHD. The communication skills to assist them with technical issues, infection control, and patient-related needs are essential.
This role is fully remote and would work 3 shifts a week as planned with your supervisor.
Overnight shifts Monday - Friday from 5 PM to 6 AM - hours can vary from 12-15 hrs. Weekend shifts on Saturday/Sunday are day and night coverage.
The role will troubleshoot machine issues and patient care concerns.
Follow through with DaVita protocols.
The role will generally take 25-35 calls in a typical shift.
Former HHD/PD RNs are welcome to apply to return to the village, but must have 1 year plus of experience.
Understanding of our proprietary software systems, i.e., Falcon CWOW, Outlook, Reggie, and Excel.
The Advanced RN—HHD or PD role is capable of all proficient RN duties. They are expected to utilize critical thinking through deliberate analysis and planning, related to the solution with the ability to understand actions as they relate to long-term patient goals.
An added bonus of being a Kidney Smart educator is a plus where you can proficiently explain modality and troubleshooting options to patients. The teammate also demonstrates sharing nursing knowledge.
DaVita requires teammates to comply with Federal and State requirements related to vaccination against Covid-19. This includes being up to date with vaccinations or having a qualified exemption. For our teammates who work to support in-patient treatments in hospital or healthcare systems, there may be additional booster requirements prior to providing patient care services.

Salary/Wage Range:
$32.00-$50.00 / hour. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
