Office Management (Administration & Office Support)Full timeThe Todd Corporation is one of New Zealand's largest and most successful companies. With a family history dating back to 1884, the company currently has interests in natural gas development, electricity generation, energy retailing (Nova Energy), property, minerals and healthcare.We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Office Manager who will ensure the smooth and efficient running of our Wellington office. This is a diverse role where you will have the chance to contribute to different areas of the business, providing an opportunity to make a broader impact.About the roleThis role is responsible for managing office operations, facilities maintenance, event planning, and providing administrative support to staff and executives.Other key tasks:Liaise with vendors, manage building operations (access, security, contractors) to ensure our office is well-maintained.Organise a variety of events, including board meetings, employee social gatherings, external meetings and wellbeing initiatives.Provide administrative assistance to teams, streamline work processes, and manage office communications.About youWe are looking for someone who is a proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a passion for creating a positive and productive work environment.You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships, which is key in this role. You will be able to think on your feet, prioritise tasks effectively, and ensure deadlines are met.Key skills required for this role:Previous experience managing office operations in a corporate environment and organising events for different audiences (e.g. Boards, employees and external meetings).Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail. Proficient in drafting communications, preparing meeting minutes, and proofreading documents.Proactive and able to work independently.
