We're seeking an Office Manager for a part-time (20 hours) 12-month maternity leave contract based in Avondale, Auckland.Join our vibrant team at GWA, where our rich New Zealand and Australian heritage, technical expertise, and innovative drive combine with our iconic brands to create something truly extraordinary. For over a century, we've been crafting innovative, high-quality products for homes and offices, including market-leading brands like Caroma, Methven, and Clark.About the Role:Based at our Avondale office, you will manage office operations and provide support to the New Zealand Country Manager, GM Sales NZ, and Head of HR. Your role will include:Office Management:Oversee daily operations and coordinate staff events.Manage meeting room schedules and resolve technology issues.Assist with vendor setup, PO processing, and invoice approvals.Order and maintain office supplies.Assist with site security maintenance and liaising with the security contractor.Coordinate with the property manager for maintenance and ensure lease compliance.Address maintenance requests and support office equipment needs.Sales & Other Support:Provide administrative support for the Sales function and departmental publications.Assist with event logistics and day-of support.Represent GWA NZ with the Corporate Travel Provider and support operations.Perform other assigned duties.About You:A strong relationship builder and communicator, you'll be able to develop and maintain relationships with work colleagues and customers at all organisational levels both internal and external to the organisation.You'll be a natural organiser with strong time management skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. You'll be computer literate with advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe.Most importantly, you'll want to be part of a supportive and friendly team where you'll be able to make an impact from day one.Experience working in an administrative role (not essential) in a medium-sized business will be looked upon favourably.About Us:At GWA, we're not just a company—we're a supportive community committed to making everyday water experiences extraordinary.
