As the Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment. This position requires an individual who is adaptable, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. --- ### **Responsibilities** - **Office Administration:** - Oversee day-to-day office operations, maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. - Manage office supplies inventory, including ordering, restocking, and maintaining vendor relationships. - Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency. - **Financial Management:** - Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking for office operations. - Ensure timely submission of invoices and manage payment approvals in collaboration with the finance team. - **Human Resources Support:** - Coordinate onboarding and training processes for new hires, including orientation sessions. - Manage employee records, maintain confidentiality, and assist with benefits administration. - Foster a positive office culture through team-building activities and engagement initiatives. - **Project Management:** - Lead and coordinate office improvement initiatives and special projects, ensuring timely completion. - Monitor project timelines and deliverables, adapting plans as necessary to meet changing circumstances. - **Communication Liaison:** - Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communications, managing relationships with clients and vendors. - Organize and support meetings, conferences, and company events, including logistics and material preparation. - **Facility Management:** - Oversee office maintenance, liaising with service providers and addressing any facility-related issues promptly. - Ensure a safe and compliant office environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. --- ### **Requirements** - **Education & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred. - A minimum of 4 years of experience in office management or administrative roles. - **Technical Skills:** - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software. - Familiarity with project management tools and software for efficient workflow tracking. - **Personality Traits:** - **Adaptable**: Ability to pivot and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - **Reliable**: Demonstrated commitment to consistent performance and maintaining confidentiality. - **Soft Skills:** - Strong project management skills with the capability to lead initiatives from inception to completion. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proactive problem solver with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. --- ### **Benefits** - Competitive retirement plan to ensure your financial future. - Free accommodation to support your living situation while working with us. - Relocation allowance for candidates moving to Auckland. --- ### **Working Environment** At Jarden, we uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
