With over 1000 students and 35 passionate teachers, we strive to create an engaging and supportive environment where creativity thrives.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and organised Part Time Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent communication skills, and a passion for music education. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, scheduling, and staff management within our lively academy.Key Responsibilities:Scheduling Classes:Coordinate and schedule classes, ensuring optimal use of facilities and resources.Communicate class schedules to students, parents, and teachers, keeping everyone informed of any changes.Organising Timetables:Develop and maintain detailed timetables for students and staff.Manage class capacities, ensuring a balanced and effective teaching environment.Promote new classes, events, workshops, and programmes.Managing Staff:Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of teaching staff.Foster a positive team culture through regular communication and collaboration.Assist in performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance staff development.Organise cover teachers when necessary.Daily Operations:Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the academy, ensuring all processes run smoothly.Maintain accurate student and staff records.Manage communications with students, parents, and staff, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.Process payments, manage invoices, and handle billing inquiries.Event Coordination:Organise academy events, workshops, and performances to promote student engagement and community involvement.Facility Management:Ensure the academy's facilities are well-maintained and conducive to learning.Coordinate with maintenance and service providers as needed.Qualifications:Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, ideally within an educational or music-related setting.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, Excel, Pages, Numbers) and familiarity with scheduling software.Passion for music and education, with an understanding of contemporary teaching methods.
