Since 1994, we have consistently advocated for greater personal freedom and an open, benevolent society in which individual New Zealanders are free to achieve their full potential.We are seeking an Office Manager to join our growing team and run the day-to-day operations of the ACT Head Office in Auckland. The Office Manager will support the work of our General Manager and deliver various office functions, including executive support, membership, administration, finance, and HR.ACT has grown significantly over the past five years, with membership up around 500 percent. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in building on that growth and contributing towards its future success.As Office Manager, your key responsibilities will include:Providing executive support to the General Manager and the Party President, including correspondence, scheduling, and travel arrangements.Serving as Clerk to the Board, its committees, and the Council, including meeting arrangements, agenda issuing, and minute taking.Maintaining membership and donation records through our database and supporting members and donors with inquiries.Overseeing the work of our outsourced accountancy services to maintain financial records and efficient processing of payments.Assisting in the development of annual budgets and producing regular financial projections and reports.Handling general office administration, including supplies, postal services, building management, IT services, and contractors and subscriptions.Administering the HR process, including recruitment, performance reviews, professional development, and adherence to current legislation.Assisting with event organization as required.Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience in office management or executive assistance.Proficiency in MS Office and working with databases.Knowledge of financial management and HR best practices.Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Ability to multitask, problem solve, and engage with a variety of stakeholders.A passion for the purpose, values, and mission of ACT New Zealand.To apply, please include your CV and a covering letter summarizing your interest and experience by Friday, 4th October.Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, and we reserve the right to appoint prior to the closing date should a suitable candidate be found.
