Description Coordination and Communication : Be the central point of contact for the International and Engagement Office liaising with internal and external stakeholders, both nationally and internationally.
High-Level Administrative Support : Provide strategic support to the Assistant Vice Chancellor, International, Engagement and Partnerships, and senior leadership team, expertly managing complex calendars, handling sensitive information, and optimising workflows to enhance the department's efficiency and productivity.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving : Embrace a dynamic and multicultural environment, confidently anticipating challenges, resolving issues independently, and maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
Nga korero mo te turanga – About the role We're looking for an experienced administrator who is ready to bring their skills to a high-energy, supportive team within our International and Engagement Office.
You'll be the go-to person for ensuring that office operations run smoothly behind the scenes, providing outstanding administrative support and management.
In this fast-paced and varied role, you will provide executive support to the Assistant Vice-Chancellor and the Senior Leadership Team, managing schedules, travel arrangements and purchases.
You'll also oversee the day-to-day office operations, from financial tasks to HR processes, while comfortably navigating different systems, including Oracle, finance systems and Microsoft 365.
Salary will be in the range of $82,795 to $94,691 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.
