Proactive, solutions focused collaboration with wider partners is an important way of how we operate, in line with our values of trusted, respected, ambitious and energetic.The RolePlease note that this is a three days per week role, based in our Wellington office.We are looking for a dynamic Office and Events Administration Manager to support our efforts to provide proactive, effective and targeted oversight and coordination of the APHANZ office, associated administration tasks, board meetings and member events.Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will undertake administrative tasks, support business operation plans and provide support for the Chief Executive (CEO), board and other team members as required. You will support the preparation and any follow-up actions with regards to Board meetings and membership registration processes. You will also be responsible for development of and coordinated delivery of APHANZ events, including our industry conferences/field trip, board meetings, and other events.From time to time, you will be expected to be involved in other relevant issues and work such as supporting and co-ordinating responses to adverse events/emergency issues and business contingency planning.You will create value for members by:Overall co-ordination, planning and support of the APHANZ office and associated administration matters.Maintaining up to date records, membership and other databases and distribution lists for the organisation.Overall co-ordination, planning and delivery of APHANZ events (Conferences, forums and Board meetings).Support the development and implementation of business contingency and operational plans.Support and co-ordinate responses to adverse events/emergency issues and business contingency planning as required.Skills & ExperienceThe successful candidate will have:Proven experience working in organisational administration/office management including proven financial management experience.Proven experience of planning and delivering successful events/conferences.Proven knowledge and track record in one or more of the following disciplines:Events planningExecutive AssistantMembership LiaisonStrong understanding of the primary sector and/or government relations is preferred.A strong team player and collaboration mindset.OrganisationWe are a small, friendly, highly supportive and collaborative organisation.
