Moana Orchard Limited is a family-owned and operated orchard business growing apples and pears.
The company runs its own packhouse facility along with a small stock holding.
Located on the coastal highway in Mariri, a recent review of key functions has confirmed the need to increase capability in the business support area as part of the company's planning for the future.
A new position has now been established requiring a highly skilled Office Administrator to support the future development of Moana Orchard.
You will have a can-do attitude with a reputation for accuracy and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have proven office administration experience across purchasing, invoicing, and employment-related documentation.
The company is a Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE), so experience in workforce cultural diversity would be an advantage.
You will also provide support in collating documentation required to continue to recruit overseas for RSE staff.
Reporting to the directors of the company, the role requires a proactive person who is self-managed, excels at streamlined systems, and enjoys working with people in office and operational environments.
The successful candidate needs to be adaptable as the workforce numbers range from a seasonal peak of 80 staff to 20 staff outside the main harvest season.
This is a permanent, part-time role worked on site across the week between Monday and Friday on flexible hours between 15 to 20 hours each week.
Proven experience operating the MS Office suite of products to an advanced level and a background using industry-specific software applications is preferred.
Confidence operating accounting software packages is also important.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a country setting and contribute to a local business exporting to the world.
