Office Administrator

Our client is currently seeking a highly organized and professional Office Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This role is essential in maintaining our office and accounting systems, ensuring smooth operations, and providing exceptional administrative support.

Start Date: Mid-January 2025
Fixed-Term: October/November 2025

1. Company Operations: Execute company values and directives within the Administration Team.Provide professional support to customers, promptly resolving queries and maintaining communication.Collaborate closely with the Financial Controller to address issues efficiently.Undertake projects aimed at improving quality, efficiency, and technological advancements.Uphold confidentiality regarding company activities and customer information.Comply with health and safety responsibilities and requirements.2. People & Teamwork: Contribute ideas and constructive feedback during staff meetings.Maintain a professional image, including wearing the company uniform and keeping office spaces clean.Support other teams when needed and ensure new staff receive thorough inductions.Proactively suggest and implement quality improvements to systems and practices.3. Operational Tasks: a) HR & Payroll: Process weekly payroll, verify timesheets, and resolve discrepancies.Maintain accurate payroll and HR records, including leave forms and contracts.Assist staff with payroll-related queries.b) Accounts Receivable & Payable: Process daily banking and invoices.Manage debtors and creditors in Xero, ensuring accurate coding and reconciliation.Support end-of-month processing and assist with debtor control, including overdue accounts.c) General Administration: Maintain office supplies and filing systems (digital and physical).Manage emails, correspondence, and customer onboarding.Input data for KPIs, budgets, and forecasting, and generate reports.Ensure company records are organized and accessible.Our ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in office administration.Good computer skills.Proactive, self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative.If you're ready to contribute to a dynamic team, apply today!
