About the organisation This is an independent charity of 40 + years tenure. Being not for profit, the focus here is on outcomes and delivering a quality service, not revenue drivers They provide residential and community rehabilitation, respite and recreational services for adults with physical or neurological impairments. Majority MoH contracts, some ACC A team of Allied Health professionals, including the CEO About the Job Dual role - 2 days per week leadership, 3 days per week clinical work As a Team Leader provide additional leadership to Community Coaches as well as support and provide guidance to the Allied Health team. As an Occupational Therapist, manage your own community caseload. This involves a variety of clinical work (assessment, intervention, innovation, equipment, and education) for clients with brain injury or other complex disabilities/injuries. Holistic and values based team environment. Work with a team of other Allied Health providers (Clinical Psychologists, OT, PT, SLT, Behaviour specialists) and receive support from Rehab Coaches (Support workers). ACC & MoH contracts - TI and "Living my Life" Monday to Friday, in Lower Hutt. Some flexibility with start and finish times, some work from home flexibility About you An experienced Occupational Therapist - must hold NZ Occupational Therapy Board registration, and a current Annual Practising Certificate Ready to step up and take on leadership responsibility Neuro rehab, brain injury experience ideal Strong and creative problem solver, outcomes driven, persistent and motivated by delivering a great service to clients Skilled communicator and naturally collaborative  A passion for working with people - your patients are the centre of your work Committed to ongoing professional development.
