We are currently hiring Work from Home (WFH) Mental Health Professionals who are either Registered Nurses, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists to join this company's team; triaging acute Mental Health online calls. Must have NZ experience and registration.
What you can expect:
This nationally based organisation provides an EMHR (Earlier Mental Health Response Team); a 24/7 mental health triage service with various contracts across Te Whatu Ora localities, Police, and Ambulance Services. Utilise your mental health crisis nursing skills.
Work from home, avoid the commute, and enjoy a balanced life with a flexible 4-week roster. You'll be part of a team of 40 mental health professionals, receive paid monthly supervision, and have all IT equipment provided.
Work 24/7 shift hours on a 4 week roster pattern, minimal night shifts

Part time; .6, .8 FTE or 40hrs per week - what do you need?
What you have to do:
Via Teletriage, ascertain caller's mental health needs
Use your triage skills to understand the situation you are dealing with
Provide sound clinical guidance on the next steps for the service user
Document the calls, using IT tools
Follow procedures and protocols associated with the situation
Start immediately or over the next month or in the New Year.
Skills & Experience:
NZ Registered Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with a current APC
A minimum of three years' experience in an NZ acute mental health setting is required, such as working with a crisis team, liaison psychiatry, community mental health team as a key worker/case manager, triage team, or a current/former Duly Authorised Officer
Sound clinical judgement in the assessment and management of suicide and other risk
A warm, friendly telephone manner with clear spoken English
Good computer skills and the ability to multitask; type and talk.
You must have a suitable internet connection via Fibre or VDSL
Base hourly rate; nights, weekends & public holidays have penal rates
Salary of $46.30hr + penals - gain benefits of working from home
New MUCA rates being negotiated currently
