Edwards Sluiters - Employment Lawyers are opening a new office in Christchurch on 18 November and are looking for a Christchurch based Law Student to join us as part of the greater admin team. This role will suit a law student of any year, with great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, who would like to gain an understanding of the inner workings of a busy law firm whilst studying.
Providing support to the admin and legal team, you will be involved in but not limited to the following:

invoicing and related billing tasks
letters of engagement
rate review letters
preparing bundles
legal research
client interaction during in office meetings
events and gifting

Details:

approximately 16hrs per week with potential for more hours during Uni break
$30 p/h
CBD location
start date: 18 November 2024
flexible hours within the working day - we are flexible with working hours so can work around Uni timetable.
must have excellent spoken and written English language skills
no experience needed, just a positive, can-do attitude.
