Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position) We are looking for an administrator to proactively support the Nursing and Midwifery Education Team, and work alongside the Associate Director of Nursing for Workforce Development and the Director of Nursing and Midwifery, based at Nelson Hospital - Health NZ Nelson Marlborough.
This is a fixed term position, covering parental leave for up to 12 months, working 44 hours per fortnight (0.55 FTE).
The working hours will be Monday to Friday (9.00 AM to 2.00 PM).
Although this will remain a Monday to Friday role, there may be flexibility around how the hours are worked each day.
Key requirements for this position include: Experience in financial administration Sound organisational and planning ability Strong multi-tasking skills Ability to remain calm in high demand situations Ability to exercise appropriate initiative and a proactive approach A willingness to be flexible, innovative and undertake other duties as required Empathy and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic self-starter, who can both work autonomously and in a team.
You will be a key member of the team who liaises with a variety of team members to support the effective facilitation of the education and professional development of our nursing and midwifery workforce.
A key aspect of the role will be the day-to-day monitoring of the financial movements within nursing education.
Ideally, you will bring experience in a similar role within the health sector, or other complex environment.
Your communication skills will be effective, so too your commitment to providing excellent service.
You will display autonomy and capability to prioritise your own workflow and manage your deadlines.
You will be working as part of a high-performing team and will consistently display confidentiality and discretion.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
