An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full-time Nursing Lecturer teaching in our postgraduate Nursing and Health science programmes.
This position is located at either our EIT Te Pukenga business division in Napier or Gisborne, but must be available to regularly travel to our Hawke's Bay and Tairawhiti campuses for face-to-face workshop teaching and mentoring.
This position reports to the Head of School, Nursing and will be responsible for:
Teaching specific subjects in the postgraduate Nursing/Health Science programmes
Contributing to ongoing development of teaching and learning in the online platform
Participating in the ongoing curriculum development for the postgraduate Nursing/Health Science programmes
Contributing to the Faculty's research culture, research forums, and research outputs.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of New Zealand annual practicing certificate, required
Worked in NZ for 2+ years as a registered nurse, required
Master of Nursing (or equivalent postgraduate qualification), required
Registered Nurse Prescriber or Nurse Practitioner with a Nursing Council of NZ annual practicing certificate, desirable
PhD or working towards a PhD, desirable
A wide range and up-to-date nursing practice experiences
Knowledge of the Nursing Council of New Zealand requirements for the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice
Sound knowledge and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi teaching
An understanding of Kawa Whakaruruhau and current approaches to cultural safety in the delivery of learning
