We're looking for a vibrant and skilled Lead Nurse to join our Practice Leadership team at AUT Student Medical Centre.

As our Lead Nurse, you'll: Lead a fantastic team of dedicated and enthusiastic nurses in a role that combines leadership, innovation, and hands-on care.Be passionate about youth health.Coordinate daily operations with a collaborative leadership team.Drive the implementation of fresh and effective care models designed to improve patient outcomes and keep our medical centre running smoothly.Enjoy a full-time, five-day-per-week role with a mix of management, administration, and patient care.Your new role: Provide inspiring clinical leadership and support to our team.Create and maintain a positive, patient-focused environment where everyone feels valued.Take a proactive, hands-on approach to leading our nursing team.Work with a multidisciplinary team that's as dedicated as you are.Oversee and enhance clinical policies and procedures, ensuring we maintain Foundation Accreditation and Cornerstone standards.What We're Looking For: At least five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Primary Care, with leadership experience.A current NZ Practising Certificate as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of NZ.Knowledge of primary health care clinical programmes and experience with complex health needs and mental health.A commitment to the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.Experience or working in a similar youth health environment would be an advantage.If you're a friendly and organised person who thrives in a supportive and energetic team, we'd love to hear from you!
Salary Range: $91,500 - $111,500 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
