ABOUT THE TEAM The Global Nielsen Media Client Service & Sales team wants to empower you to help our clients go from insights to action faster. We want to help you perfect the art of data-driven customer service that drives clients' investment in Nielsen. You can now work on activities that are driving client impact.
Key Responsibilities: Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships in the broadcasting sectorServe as the key day to day point of contact for major broadcasting accountsProactively engage with key broadcasting stakeholders on commercial initiativesSupport commercial leads in achieving revenue targets for the commercial broadcasters and related broadcast entitiesProvide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analysesAssist Nielsen Operations with analyses of data to support the role out of key strategic projectsWork closely with cross-functional teams like Operations, Data Science, Finance and Legal, to align on business opportunities and needs, as the voice of the broadcastersStay updated on technological advancements in broadcasting and explore their potential applicationsA working understanding of all Nielsen Media products and solutions, particularly TV measurement and Consumer & Media IndexRequirements & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field5+ years of experience in commercial broadcasting, media sales, or related areasProven track record of managing high-value client relationshipsStrong understanding of the NZ broadcasting industry and current market trendsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsAnalytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisionsProficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, data analytics platforms)Experience with analyses in Television Audience Measurement dataBuilds strong, trust-based client relationshipsAbility to prioritise against multiple client demandsSeeks opportunities and supports company initiatives to grow revenueStrong skills across MS Office and Google suiteStrong attention to detailAt Nielsen, we are passionate about our work to power a better media future for all people by providing powerful insights that drive client decisions and deliver extraordinary results.
