The team is made up of clinical experts who are dedicated and focused on providing quality health outcomes for the patients that come into their care. The Nurse Specialist will work with a patients referred for a TAVI procedure; providing assessment, pre admission and discharge planning, and education. The Cardiology Department leads New Zealand in providing specialised nursing care based on clinical skill, research, education and innovation. Our commitment is to the highest levels of clinical quality, providing the best standards of personalised care possible to our patients. The Service is looking for a Nurse with experience in working with large teams in a busy and complex environment. As the Nurse Specialist you will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge, advanced clinical skills, and be an excellent communicator and team member. You will be accountable for care coordination for TAVI patients and will work in collaboration with Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Specialists and other multidisciplinary team members across the continuum of care.
