In this role, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership to enhance patient treatment and care planning for Triage 3, 4, 5 patients within the Emergency Department.

Right now, Health New Zealand - Wairarapa is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Emergency Department Team.
This position provides advanced clinical expertise and leadership to enhance patient treatment and care planning for Triage 3, 4, 5 patients within the Emergency Department.
The Emergency Nurse Practitioner team practices independently and collaboratively to utilize advanced health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment implementation in both adult and paediatric patients to reduce waiting times, decrease ED length of stay, and increase patient satisfaction for those presenting to the Emergency Department.
The role also provides clinical expertise and leadership to optimize patient outcomes and develop effective models of care in the department through quality initiatives, teaching, and mentoring.
Mou - About you You have a New Zealand Registered Nurse Practitioner qualification, including Registration & current Annual Practising Certificate.
You have recent clinical experience in an emergency care setting and current knowledge about issues within nursing and acute care nursing.
Sound knowledge and understanding of medico/legal and ethical responsibilities is essential.
