Skin Institute aims to provide New Zealand with one place to go for all dermatological, skin cancer, vein and appearance medicine needs. We have been operating in NZ since 1994 and have grown into a multi-disciplinary specialist centre with 16 clinics nationwide.
We have a team of specially trained surgeons, specialists, doctors, and nurses who are dedicated and passionate about helping people take care of their skin, wherever they are on their journey.
About the role We are currently seeking a registered nurse who has experience in dermoscopy and is interested in furthering their career commitment to Skin and Skin Cancer treatments.
We are needing around 16 hours per week, but we are flexible on days and hours worked, depending on the successful candidate!
There is a mix of formal qualifications and on-the-job learning in a supportive, learning environment. This role will play an important part in enabling the growth of skin assessments in our beautiful Queenstown clinic.
With a care pathway that offers service and treatment options to our patients ranging from Nurse Dermoscopists through to Mohs and PDEMA surgeons, this is an opportunity to be part of an organisation that is focused on optimal patient outcomes.
What you'll do As a Nurse Dermoscopist, you will play a critical role in providing an accessible, first point of contact for those seeking clinical support for identified concerns or for those proactively being vigilant about their skin health.
You will have the opportunity to be a part of your patient's journey, from the initial assessment right through to post-treatment care.
About you You'll have experience in Nurse Dermoscopy looking for the next step in your career, with a commitment for ongoing development. You must be a Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and will need to hold a Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate.
