We are looking for an incredible qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide Diagnostic Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and the highest quality care at all times. You need to be able to provide a welcoming, accurate, and responsive imaging service to PRGs patients, referrers, and funders.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
To perform a wide range of diagnostic PET procedures in a professional manner.
Provision of high-quality data utilizing a PETCT system. Appropriate examinations for clinical indications with efficient use of departmental resources, appropriate computerized scan data manipulation, and clear and accurate labeling of data.
Maintenance of professional levels of patient care and compliance with moral and ethical codes. Provide clear communication to patients and support people, keeping them informed of the process, and liaise with wards and other departmental staff as required.
Perform radiopharmaceutical and hot lab quality control procedures and IV cannulation.

Qualifications required:
Completion of an approved tertiary diploma or degree or graduate diploma course in Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent).
NZ MRTB Registration, with current Scope of Practice in Nuclear Medicine.
Additional CT Scope of practice is advantageous.
