This role is perfect for business-minded individuals who want an accelerated pathway to becoming a Hotel General Manager.As Night Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, security, and the effective management of all front office operational functions. You will be responsible for the operation of the hotel overnight, in the absence of the management team, ensuring the hotel maintains its high standards of safety, service and operational efficiency.Job DescriptionLead & supervise night shifts, ensuring safety, security and a seamless and welcoming guest experience.Manage night audit functions, accurately reconciling guest accounts & posting charges.Handle check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and guest enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.Generate daily reports, offering insights into hotel performance and operations.Manage front office duties and coordination with other departments to ensure smooth operations.Oversee the property's security, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and legal requirements.QualificationsPrevious Front Office experience at supervisory level.Experience completing the night audit process and Opera knowledge will be an advantage.A meticulous and highly detailed approach to processing all tasks.Available to work permanent overnight shifts on a full-time basis (11pm to 7.30am with flexibility), including weekends, public holidays and some day shifts.Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop others.A current GM certificate (preferred), or the ability to obtain (to obtain candidates must have an LCQ certificate & 3 months supervisory experience at a licensed premises in NZ).Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel.Ability to remain calm under pressure and excellent problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with immaculate personal presentation.Additional InformationGenerous Night Shift AllowanceLearn your Way - Access to our Accor Academy so you can Earn while you Learn!Opportunities for career development and growth within Accor's global network.Incredible AccorHeartist Benefits – access to Accor's extensive benefits including discounted Food & Beverage + Accommodation Worldwide.Accor's refer-a-friend bonus.Accor's Parental Leave Scheme.Access to our Employee Assistance Program.Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
