We like to lead from the front. So, we're looking for a Night Manager who sets their own high standards across everything from cleanliness to productivity. You'll champion our 'one team' approach to make sure you and your team deal effectively and efficiently with all guest complaints, queries and suggestions.
A little taste of your day-to-day Every day is different in hotels, but you'll mostly be:
Overseeing the night audit functionsMaintain correct guest information against registration cardsReview & monitor early morning wake-up calls and related proceduresReview all audits and reconciliation of daily sales transactions, balancing all electronic payments and interface transactions reporting discrepanciesHandle guest situations in a professional manner and ensure appropriate follow-upAll night audit, night Duty Manager and Night Porter shift duties are completed to the required standard in a timely mannerReviewing arrival lists and allocations to anticipate guest needsStaff supervision in absence of HOD or delegateWhat we need from you? Minimum 2 years' front desk/guest service leader experienceFluent in spoken and written EnglishBasic mathematical skillsExcellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skillsWorking knowledge of hotel property management systems like Opera would be advantageous to the roleThe ability to work the shift of 11:00pm - 7:30am with some weekends includedCertifications/Qualifications: Level 2 First Aid Certificate will be held in high regardsBachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration is preferred but not essentialA valid Managers Certificate & LCQWhat you can expect from us?
