About The Role - Te mahi
This is an exciting new Full-time role for an experienced Night Auditor in a beautiful new 4.5-star hotel. You will complete flexible shifts each week, working alongside an amazing and experienced team who will assist you and support you as your career takes off. This role is full time with a minimum of 30 hours per week, the hourly rate is $26.00 plus night allowance.

Our night roles span across front office reception and night audit tasks, requiring a hospitality professional with a level head, professionalism and the ability to make our guests welcome with exceptional service. From checking guests in/out, through to dealing with guest complaints, this varied position will require exceptional communication skills and the ability to think on your feet. You will be confident in your decision making and have a strong focus on safety and security.
You will be able to problem solve to ensure accuracy in accounting and be able to work unsupervised. You must be strong in using computer systems, reporting and excel. Night duties are also focused on ensuring guests and staff areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, to ensure we are putting our best foot forward for our team and guests.
In this role you will be:
greeting and welcoming visitors
arranging and recording details of appointments
answering inquiries and providing information to our guests
answering, connecting and transferring telephone calls
receiving and resolving complaints from guests
receiving and distributing deliveries
maintaining the hotel reception area
advising on and arranging reservations, accommodation and local activities
other clerical tasks such as auditing, data entry, reports and filing
About you | Ko koe tenei
A commitment to being a reliable member of the night team. Be able to work 10pm to 6.30am with a roster that covers seven days a week including weekends and holidays. NZQF Level 4, or 3 years experience in a relevant role in the Hospitality and Tourism sector will substitute for the qualification. Ability to work unsupervised, on your own and as part of a team.
