With community hubs in Whakatu (Nelson), Wairau (Blenheim) and Motueka effective in delivering a range of quality health services, from mobile clinics or in the home.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide whanau with access to integrated, coordinated nursing support services in their community. Delivered from the Wairau health hub, this full-time fixed term role is available through to June 2027.
Ko wai koe / About you
You are invested in providing and supporting better health outcomes for whanau in the community. An advocate to reinforce health messages in the wider community developing and delivering the best standards of care using Kaupapa Maori approaches. Have knowledge of or possess a willingness to learn about conditions that impact Maori health.
Nga pukenga ka whai koe / Skills you will have:
A Bachelor of Nursing and hold a current practicing certificate / registration with NZ Nursing Council
Adept in report writing and client management system INDICI would be an advantage
Familiarity in developing whanau plans and risk assessments
Demonstrate collaboration with whanau and relevant key-stakeholders to maximise and facilitate positive health and social outcomes
Have a growing competency in Te Reo Maori me ona Tikanga
Auahi Kore (Smoke Free) and able to model a healthy lifestyle
A good sense of humour and able to demonstrate an alignment with nga uara/our values
