Job Description The Pacific Area Temple Manager is seeking to appoint a Senior Clerk. This is a permanent full-time position located at the Auckland New Zealand Temple, and the successful candidate will be required to work from this location. This position reports to the Temple Clerical Leader.
The purpose of the position is to provide administrative services to help accomplish the mission of the Church. The Senior Clerk provides key support for Temple operations, including performance of a wide variety of specialized clerical functions.
Responsibilities SCHEDULE:
Working shift work Tuesday through Saturday. Work schedules may be adjusted during maintenance closures, as needed.
Helping temple patrons and members have a beautiful and uplifting experience
Serving patrons in-person, over the phone and/or via email
Maintaining specialised records and files
Answering questions and inquiries
Resolving discrepancies and navigating complex problems and issues
Preparing reports
General office and administrative services
Qualifications Professional communication both verbally and written
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs as needed
Good knowledge and working practice of Microsoft Office products
High school graduate and a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
Familiarity with Family Search will be advantageous
Ability to follow policy and apply it to specific situations
Ability to work with and train volunteers
Strong attention to detail
