New entrant/Y1 teacher Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 28/01/2025, End Date: 19/12/2025 (Maternity leave)
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts
We are looking for a vibrant, engaging teacher to join our junior team. A passion for children and the ability to build relationships with them, whanau, and staff is a must. The successful applicant will be warm, kind, and bring a sense of fun to the job.
We are located in Brooklyn, Wellington, and have a beautiful new school with huge grounds, a massive playing field, and a bike track, plus a French bilingual class. The staff are an eclectic bunch, and we have a wonderful community around us. Feel free to make a time to come in and visit us here on the ridge, in South Wellington!
