You will be responsible for managing third party access onto the network and assessing third party development applications, working to ensure asset outcomes are not compromised by other's work through innovative thinking and solutions focused problem solving.The role will use your strong analytical and network and asset management skills to ensure NZTA is successful in delivering a safe transport system to our customers, while delivering value for money.This position is based in Palmerston North working alongside great people who are passionate about what we do every day for NZTA, and most of all, to benefit our communities so they can move safely and efficiently to work, school or for recreation.Ko koe tenei | About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Ability to assess State Highway control functions and activitiesRoad asset management experience and understanding of life cycle management is beneficialExperience in roading project management is beneficialUnderstanding of financial monitoring, accruals and forecastingGood performance monitoring and managementStrong supplier, partner and stakeholder relationship skillsProficiency in quality for delivery of maintenanceGood understanding of safety and resilience for our communitiesTeam building skills to support our Maintenance and Operations teamYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
