Are you a skilled Network Engineer with a strong background in IP/MPLS networking and with hands-on experience in a fast-paced, service provider or vendor environment? We are seeking a Network Engineer for a contract role with an innovative team, where you'll play a key role in network design, testing, and optimisation for complex, multi-vendor network environment.
What You'll Bring: 5+ years of experience in a hands-on network operations role, ideally with a service provider or vendor. Strong understanding of IP/MPLS Networking fundamentals and experience with SR/MPLS, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VRFs, IS-IS, BGP-LU, and IGP. Proficiency with major vendor equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia) and network OSS tools (e.g., Incident, change, problem management, CMDB, NMS, EMS, RADIUS, DNS). Familiarity with VPLS/VPRN/VPWS/EVPN services and a basic understanding of OTN. System administration skills with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) or Windows Server environments. Solid networking and troubleshooting knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN). Scripting knowledge (Ansible, Python, Bash/Shell, SQL) is advantageous but not required. Previous experience with COTS products like Zendesk or ServiceNow is ideal.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. CCNA or equivalent certification is a plus. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
