  We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Controller to oversee the reliability and safety of our network assets around the clock.
This crucial role ensures that our network meets business, customer, and regulatory requirements while providing a safe working environment for staff, contractors, and the public.
Key Responsibilities: Manage real-time asset performance and availability, ensuring adherence to electrical safety practices and operational procedures.
Coordinate with field service contractors for planned and unplanned asset access and return.
Minimize supply disruptions while maintaining a safe network environment for all parties.
Keep the network's connectivity and service maps up to date.
Demonstrate expertise in SCADA, Load Management, and TCS, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills: Electrical trade or technical background.
Preferred: Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (Electrical) or equivalent tertiary qualification.
Advanced SCADA knowledge.
Training in operational systems, procedures, and standards.
Strong PC skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service, especially under pressure.
Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience working with HV electrical networks in a technical capacity.
Experience with electrical sub-transmission and distribution networks, SCADA, and Outage Management Systems.
Proven ability to manage unplanned outages and restore network supply effectively.
Strong analytical skills to develop process improvements and generate reports based on network data.
Relevant industry experience in sectors such as rail, electricity, or other critical infrastructure networks will also be considered.
Important Notes: This position operates on a roster basis, requiring availability 24/7, including both day and night shifts.
