We are currently seeking a special someone to enhance our sales success by leading our retail team and supporting our wholesale partners. taylor is a leading New Zealand fashion brand defined by impeccable tailoring, fabrication, and attention to detail. The Shelter is New Zealand's leading concept store, where the world's best designers incubate and bring creative ideas to life. Housing international brands such as Issey Miyake, Rick Owens DRKSHDW and local designers Jimmy D and Lela Jacobs. You will be an experienced retail leader with the strength to grow your team and drive sales. You have an eye for fashion and understand the importance of maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Working closely with our online, marketing, workroom and retail teams, your key responsibilities in this role include: Sales Leadership – Lead, motivate and mentor our boutique managers and the wholesale team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Strategic Planning – Develop and implement sales strategies that align with our brand vision and objectives. Client Relationships – Foster and manage relationships with our clients and wholesale partners, ensuring consistent brand experience and high levels of engagement. Performance Management – Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Brand Experience – Ensure that all client touchpoints in both boutiques and wholesale adhere to our standards and values. Team Development – Coach and develop the sales teams across boutiques and wholesale to deliver a best-in-class experience. Budget Management – Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure profitability and operational efficiency. Stock Management – Coordinate with the production team to ensure stock deliveries are on time and allocated to the right stores. Stock procedures are followed, and stock levels are accurate. Feedback – Be the voice of retail, ensuring the workroom team is kept up to date with opportunities for us to improve. Who You Are - A proven leader with at least three years' experience in a multi-site retail environment. - Strong track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. - A strategic thinker who is proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
