National Partnership Manager - Corporate & Growth Fidelity Life is a NZ owned Life Insurer that is on an exciting journey to grow our presence in the financial adviser market with significant growth and delivery over the past year.
A crucial next step in our strategy is to grow our presence with advice businesses that are mid-sized or corporate where we have traditionally had low presence and represents significant growth potential.
The opportunity is to join our team to lead the growth in these practices in our newly created role – National Partnerships Manager – Corporate and Growth.
This role will identify corporate and growth opportunities nationally, lead strategic engagement with those businesses and work with internal stakeholders to develop solutions and ensure delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is NZ owned and highly motivated to deliver material growth over the coming years for the good of NZ.
Some key accountabilities include: Strategic planning Developing Fidelity Life's strategy and three-year business plan to drive growth and performance in the Corporate and Mid-tier (growth) market segments.
Together with ensuring alignment with the overall sustainable growth strategy and establish clear performance metrics that contribute to enterprise-level results.
Ensuring each partner has a business plan (developed then reviewed at least annually) with the required range of hard and soft metrics (including customer outcome metrics) aligned with the strategy and business planning metrics for the Fidelity Life National Partnerships portfolio.
Building a market presence for Fidelity Life in these segments; Leverage Executive relationships and colleagues to deliver a step change in Fidelity Life's visibility with selected corporate and mid-tier / growth relationships.
Lead engagement with identified businesses to influence and create alignment at senior levels.
Delivery and value creation Lead cross-functional efforts to deliver to account plans and maximize partner potential through new propositions, improved customer experience, pricing strategies, and effective lead generation, ensuring prioritization aligns with business goals.
Review the commercial performance of each partner against contract, identifying and making the case for correcting commercial underperformance.
Leadership Maintaining a lens on activity that drives outcomes; Working with the Head of Individual Life, set clear expectations for the National Partnerships Consultant/s and align their activities where they add value, intervening if work activities misalign with the commercial and relationship focus of the National Partnerships Consultant role.
Continuously thinking about 'raising the bar' and collaborating with the National Partnerships Consultant on coordinated ways to uplift engagement.
Customer and Partner satisfaction Leading by example with a strong focus on customer outcomes and satisfaction.
Conduct root-cause analyses and action plans as needed to address recurring customer dissatisfaction.
About you: You are a seasoned professional with over 8 years of strategic partnership management experience in financial services, ideally with a focus on insurance distribution channels.
With demonstrated expertise in strategic account management, you will bring strong commercial acumen and the capability to manage multiple complex deliverables effectively.
You'll excel in aligning strategies, executing plans with a holistic approach, and proactively solving challenges.
Your passion for continuous learning, dedication to improving customer outcomes, and eagerness to take ownership of this pivotal role within our dynamic team will contribute significantly to your success in the position.
Together with this you will bring: Strategic relationship development skills and ability to align and influence at senior levels with partners and internally Strategic account planning skills Proven delivery capability and ability to align and lead internal stakeholders to deliver to account plans Excellent numeracy, data analysis and insight gathering experience; Strong data and insight visualisation capabilities Strong attention to detail An understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements of financial services providers Level 5 qualified highly regarded.
