Permanent, Part Time 0.5FTERemuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines. The Pacific Equity Lead role is to provide national Pacific equity leadership for the National Bowel Screening Programme. You will support those working within and with the National Bowel Screening Programme (NBSP) to reduce inequities in Bowel Cancer Screening participation for Pacific Peoples in Aotearoa. You will provide coordination and relationship building opportunities for District Programmes, associated organisations and Pacific communities, agencies, organisations and groups, including members of the Pacific National Network. The role will include helping to facilitate and share information and insights between these groups to increase greater equity in participation in the Bowel Screening Programme. The role will also plan, facilitate and deliver the National Pacific Fono. The successful applicant will have established relationships within the Pacific community and be a recognised leader in the Pacific community or within the health sector. Essential: Relevant tertiary qualification in a health or health-related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a health setting such as public health, community health or primary care setting. Strong leadership skills.
