Nail Technician

Job Responsibilities:Performing consultations and suggesting services to clientsMaintaining a clean workstationCleaning and shaping client's finger and toenailsRemoving old polish and preparing nails for servicesPerforming hand and foot massagesTrimming nails and pushing back cuticlesRecommending products and treatments to clientsShowing good skills such as Pedicure, Manicure in gel, SNS dipping, acrylic, and nails artComplying with all health and safety standardsApplying nail polish and airbrush designsApplying various types of artificial nailsMaintaining an inventory of nail salon productsSanitizing equipment and tools between each clientEvaluating client's finger and toenails and advising them on care tips and useful services/productsAssisting with product orders when neededDeveloping strong relationships with clients to keep them coming backAny other duties the employer reasonably may require the employee to performPay rate: minimum $29.66/hour - maximum $32.00/hour
Guaranteed hours of work per week: minimum 30 hours per week
Requirements for the Job:At least 3 years of nail technician work experienceFull-time availability, flexible to work with a rotating roster, must be able to work on weekends and public holidaysMust have experience in the following skills: Nail care, Acrylic nails, nails extension, nails art design, dipping powder for nailsThe knowledge of understanding the anatomy of nails, and the problems or diseases that can affect them would be an advantageAn awareness of health, safety, and hygiene of a nail salon environment, especially when dealing with different chemicals would be an advantageKeeping up to date with changes in nail care techniques and products would be an advantageNo criminal recordCandidates need to be NZ citizens/residents
