In conjunction with the Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Alcohol and other Drug (AoD) Team, you will be co-ordinating care to meet identified needs of referred children and young people within the context of family, school and peer groups. You will provide children, young people, and families presenting to the Child & Adolescent Mental Health and AoD Service with integrated assessment and treatment, taking account of psychosocial issues relevant to the development and wellbeing of children and adolescents within the context of family/whanau.The role is part of Te Roopu Kimiora, Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Service, based in Kaitaia. This supportive multi-disciplinary team actively promotes recovery focused care and are seeking an autonomous practitioner, who is keen to innovate and participate in service development to join us. These roles are permanent full-time, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.You will have:A recognised health qualification and registration with professional organisation, such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work Annual Practising Certificate.Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.Computer literacy and communication skills.A current full drivers' licence with the ability to travel throughout the region.A commitment to working in a culturally safe manner and maintaining proper ethical standards.A career with Te Whatu Ora will see you action meaningful change in the region we love, and in your professional development – all whilst enjoying everything the stunning North has to offer.
