Position OverviewMUMA is seeking a dedicated Employment Service Manager to oversee the coordination, strategy, and operations of MUMA Mahi Employment Services. The 'Kaupapa' that we all embrace here at MUMA is 'WHANAU FIRST', as 'Our Whanau are our Future'.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership: Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient service delivery across MUMA Mahi workstreams.Programme Development: Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of MUMA Mahi initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with employers, community partners, and stakeholders to facilitate pathways to meaningful work.Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with MUMA's internal services to create seamless connections for clients moving through MUMA Mahi.Marketing and Communications: Develop and manage marketing strategies to increase visibility and engagement for MUMA Mahi.Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including MUMA's Leadership and Board.Event Management: Organize events, job fairs, and community outreach activities that support programme goals.Performance Reporting: Track, evaluate, and present reports on programme outcomes to demonstrate success and identify improvement opportunities.Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all programme activities meet contractual deliverables, comply with MUMA's standards, and adhere to high-quality service standards.Additional Support: Assist the MUMA Whanau Services Leadership Team with any additional tasks related to MUMA Mahi service delivery.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in employment services, business development, HR, or related fields.Proven experience in job placement, recruitment, career counseling, or business development (preferred but not required).Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.Ability to lead, inspire, and manage teams effectively.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strategic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a service manager?How many years of people management experience do you have?Do you have experience in a role which requires relationship management experience?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?What's your highest level of education?
