Travvia is in New Zealand and Australia, we are looking for a Maintenance RepairTechnicianto work with our Brands JUCY and Star RVat our Auckland Airport Branch. You will be conducting domestic maintenance and repairs to cars, campervans, and motorhomes and providing operational support throughout the branch to ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard and in a roadworthy condition (Training Provided). From stripping wrecks to providing quality checks this is a very hands-on role, ensuring that our fleet of JUCY campers and cars and motorhomes are in perfect working order for the adventure.
What you'll be doing?
Carrying out domestic repairs and maintenance to cars, campers and motorhomes.
Conducting pre-hire vehicle basic safety inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard and in a roadworthy condition (training provided)
Stripping wrecks
Technicians will work in environments with high volumes of customers so must be friendly, welcoming, and helpful towards customers.
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience with domestic repairs and maintenance on motorhomes & campervans
Good general mechanical knowledge
Experience using a variety of tools
Impeccable attention to detail and pride in your work
Proactive person and a natural problem solver
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic workplace and remain calm under pressure
A full New Zealand driver's licence
Availability to work weekends and public holidays
Rental car, campervan and motorhome experience preferred (but not essential)
A desire for a hands-on role in the Tourism or Rental Vehicle Industry
Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety
Applicants must have an applicableworking visa or the right to work in New Zealand
