Bishop Auckland College has an exciting opportunity to join our motor vehicle department as a Skills Coach who will be responsible for supporting students in their hybrid and electrical training using new and innovative panel and circuit trainers.
Job Reference: RS24/25/30 Location: Bishop Auckland Campus Closing Date: 20 September 2024 Pay: Grade: Fixed point 16 (£23,827.31 pro rata) Hours: 15 hours per week Duration: Permanent A good understanding of the motor vehicle industry is needed and current experience of electrical and hybrid vehicles would be an advantage but further training will be given.
The successful candidate will be required to possess a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and would need to complete appropriate training and continuous professional development in electric vehicles, in line with zero net emissions.
This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
