Job Description: We are currently seeking motivated and experienced team members to join our team as Motel Assistant Managers. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the motel and delivering outstanding services to our guests.
Responsibilities: Oversee front desk activities, including greeting customers, check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.Handle guest inquiries, and concerns, and provide excellent customer service.Supervise the attendance and working schedules of employees, including overseeing paid time off, overtime, and breaks.Supervise, train, and support motel staff to ensure a high standard of performance.Manage inventory, handle ordering, and monitor supplies.Assist in the day-to-day management of motel operations.Assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and ensuring that all staff members uphold compliance.Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures. Requirements: While having a Diploma in Hotel/Motel Management and/or one year of work experience in a similar role is beneficial, however, it is not a mandatory requirement. We will provide training and support for career development to the right candidate.Take pride in your work and be willing to learn.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Team player, with the ability to work independently.Basic computer skills.Ability to supervise and motivate a team.Flexible to work long and varied hours, including working on public holidays and at least one day during the weekends.Preferably live on-site.
