Korero mo te turanga - About the role: The Modelling and Design Technical Analyst is a highly valued, pivotal role at OSPRI, where you will be responsible for improving and updating OSPRI models, consolidating and improving the accuracy of input data for the Scenario Tree Model?and performing analysis on large datasets to inform surveillance design. We are looking for someone who can use multiple systems to extract data, map findings, and perform quantitative analysis using statistical analysis programmes. This is an opportunity to take a lead role in reviewing test thresholds and case definitions, reporting on the surveillance streams' characteristics, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and communicating those findings so adjustments can occur. This technical epidemiology role plays a key part in enhancing disease management programmes and provides valuable technical insights to guide decisions within the M. bovis programme. Your responsibilities will include providing expertise in epidemiology, modelling and effectively communicating complex concepts to various audiences. This is an opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of epidemiologists, data analysts, and stakeholders to shape disease control strategies and drive impactful outcomes.
