We are seeking an enthusiastic Ministerial Services Coordinator to join the Ministerial Services team for six months in a fixed-term role or secondment, based in central Wellington.

The Ministry for Regulation is a newly established small government agency with a big job to do. We are a small group of dedicated professionals, working in a 'can do' environment.
About the role
Our Ministerial Services Coordinator works in a small but busy Ministerial Services team that has responsibility for supporting the Minister's Office, responding to OIA requests and other correspondence, and performance reporting functions.
As a Ministerial Services Coordinator, you will help with a wide range of tasks, including managing the Ministry's main outward-facing email inbox, prioritising incoming correspondence, filing and updating the team's workflow tools, and keeping the Head of Ministerial Services informed about workflows.
You are also likely to support with a wide variety of other tasks to support the team with their workflow as required, so flexibility and eagerness will be an asset.
This role is banded from $62,867- $83,041. The successful candidate is expected to be appointed within this band, dependent on skills and experience.
About you
We are looking for someone who:

Is an administrative superstar
Is very experienced working with the M365 suite of tools and applications
Can keep themselves and others organised
Has experience supporting senior leaders or big teams
Is happy to work across a wide range of activities
Experience as a coordinator/administrator in a Ministerial Services or Official Information team is highly desirable, but candidates with strong team coordination experience may also be considered
