This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operator to work alongside the Surfacing Manager in building a new division within the business.
You will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 6am-6pm and have the flexibility to work additional hours/days as required.
Responsibilities: Carrying out milling operations including routine maintenance pre-startsEnsuring machinery is kept in clean and safe working orderLiaising with external stakeholdersWhat you'll bring to the role: Previous experience in road maintenance and surfacing industryExperience in milling operationsClass 2 licence and WTRExperience using Trimble would be highly beneficialStrong verbal and written communication skillsCommitment to health and safety for yourself, colleagues, and the publicAbout Us Higgins is a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand.
