Metal Fabricators Wanted
Work Location: Canterbury Region
Employment type: Full-time (minimum 30 hours/per week, workdays from Monday to Sunday), Permanent role
Our pay: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
We are now looking for three Metal Fabricators to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access to a reputable and experienced company.
Key Tasks Include:
Cutting, welding, and fixturing
Inspecting quality and accuracy of parts and assemblies
Perform installation, inspection, and adjusting as required
Punching and drilling mounting holes in parts and assembled products
Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions
Taking part in product development meetings
Select and prepare materials for fabrication based on the drawings provided
Support team members as required
Comply with applicable company procedures and policies
Train new staff when needed
Perform other duties as assigned
To be successful you will need to:
Have at least 1 year's relevant work experience, OR
Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification
Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
Be physically fit and willingness to work hard
Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
Have a "can-do" attitude
