Manufacturing Fitter

We are seeking a Manufacturing Fitter to work for an equipment manufacturing company in Christchurch, Dorset.Responsibilities:Assemble and fit a diverse range of mechanical products.Conduct small fabrication work and prototyping.Maintain and repair high-pressure cylinders.Operate hand and power tools, such as grinders and drills.Ensure that the workspace is maintained according to 5S principles.Required Experience and Skills:Previous experience working under manufacturing environments.Mechanical background will be advantageous.Proven ability to read and interpret P&ID and basic mechanical/electrical drawings.Experience with 12/24 volt DC electrical systems.Excellent organizational skills within a manufacturing setting.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.Skilled in high-pressure pipework up to 300 Bar will be beneficial.Schedule:Day Shift - Monday to FridayMonday to Thursday: 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM; Friday: 6:30 AM to 12:30 Noon.
