Some More Information About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role works closely with the executive team supporting all commercial matters across the group.
This is a true M&A role where you will work in a dynamic environment in a business with ambitious growth plans.
Some of the key areas of oversight include:

Playing a lead role in business valuations of acquisition targets
Building favourable relationships with vendor networks
Leading the settlement process of transactions
Partnering with the Group CEO and Group CFO on strategic projects and business plans
Providing detailed financial analysis, cash flow projections, forecasts, profitability initiatives, and executive recommendations
Identifying and driving profitability improvement initiatives

So Who Are You & What is Your Profile?
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a solid background in M&A, Deals Advisory, or Corporate Finance. Prior experience working in a similar role in a large complex organisation would be ideal; similarly, a background in transaction services from the Big 4 would also be looked upon favourably.
Given the scope of the role, it requires someone who can juggle big picture and detail seamlessly. Solid analytical and financial modelling skills would be advantageous, as well as very strong MS Excel skills.
On a day-to-day basis, you need to be inquisitive and demonstrate a high level of commercial leadership. You are also someone who understands big data and has the ability to work with it in a meaningful way.
This is a fast-paced, challenging, and equally rewarding opportunity—a role where you can make an impact from day one! Unlike many M&A roles out there, this position offers genuine work/life balance where you get to control your own timelines.
