Are you looking for a team that is supportive and a joy to work with?
We currently have a new role for a motivated Mental Health Support worker to join our multi-disciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a team that supports people experiencing a mental health crisis across a number of sites.
As we are an acute service, your role will be varied and allow you to utilise a wide variety of skills. To further support staff with their development, we are supportive of ongoing training and professional development for all staff.
Mo to matou ropu – About our team
The Crisis Resolution Service is a community-based mental health service which provides acute assessment, risk formulation, and treatment working in partnership with people, whanau, and community supports.
We are a frontline service and work closely with Emergency departments, Police, social services, GP's, and tertiary education providers. We assess people of all ages and refer them on to secondary services or back to primary care.
The team is Multi-Disciplinary comprising Nurses, Doctors, social workers, and administrators.

Current Mental Health Support worker certificate
A passion for working with a wide variety of people who experience Mental Health issues
Resilience and the ability to work in a very busy environment
Team-focused with a positive attitude
Excellent time management and communication skills
Full driver's licence.
