Our service is looking for resourceful, and enthusiastic Registered Nurses with mental health experience.
Are you passionate about participating in people's mental health and addiction recovery journeys, not afraid of hard work, well organised and enjoy working autonomously. We have vacancies for 2 motivated and enthusiastic registered mental health nurses to join our team.

The role of the Primary Care Liaison Nurse is to work across primary and secondary health settings to ensure clients are able to access the treatment most appropriate to their needs. The GP Liaison Nurse does not provide a care management role to clients, rather acts in a consultation role for primary care via GPs, Health Centres and Community Mental Health teams, as well as providing assessment and brief intervention when required.

The Primary Care Liaison Service is a small team of experienced clinicians covering the MHAIDS region. We work in both the primary and secondary health settings to support tangata whaiora receiving the right care, at the right time, in the right environment.
Mou – About you
You will be a registered nurse with extensive experience in mental health settings at least 3 years worth, including in the community.
Able to work autonomously as well as contribute to the MDT
Creative, innovative thinking and problem solving
Application of best practice models of care
A willingness to learn and develop your practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and skilled in developing relationships with a variety of other professionals
You will hold a full NZ drivers licence.
